OUR CLASS ROCKS!
I LOVE DESIGNING CLASSROOMS! I itch during the 2nd week of summer vacation to get back into my classroom to start fresh for the upcoming school year. My principal thinks I am nuts...but that's fine. When you work with tweens I guess you have to be!
Having taught classroom management courses at the university level as well as being a classroom teacher for 8 years, I am well-versed in what is essential for all new and continuing teachers. I find that having a year-long theme gives you plenty of options to be creative with not only lessons, but prizes, incentives, etc.
